About meMy research interests revolve around the field of quantitative paleoceanography. As a geochemist and paleoceanographer, I have interests in developing methods to investigate past hydrographic variability and in understanding processes that influence how a particular archive records past oceanic variability. As a statistician, I seek to apply mathematical techniques in order to extract paleoceanographic-relevant information from raw proxy data and to quantify the uncertainty associated with the reconstruction.
